Co-practice owner & ​Occupational Therapist

Anele is the co-founder of Olive Grove Occupational Therapy. She completed her Bachelor of Occupational ​Therapy at the University of KwaZulu Natal in 2017. Born and bred in Durban, Anele grew up in Kwamashu ​and has always been passionate about advocating for occupational therapy in low socio-economic areas. ​She completed her community service in Kwamashu CHC where she was engaged in community outreach ​programmes for the betterment of her community.


Since the completion of her degree, she has worked and gained experience in adult physical rehabilitation, ​psychiatric (mental health) OT, paediatric OT-mainly autism, Medico-legal assessments, and functional ​capacity evaluations. She believes in upskilling herself and has

completed various courses including Workwell FCE training and OT GROW basic experiential course for ​group therapy. She is passionate mental health and physical rehabilitation and has a special interest in ​case management and medico-legal work.


Anele is a highly motivated and dynamic leader who brings wit to the team. She enjoys engaging in artistic ​activities and greatly values time spent with her family and friends.
